Adorable! Congratulations!
(although, like all babies she resembles Winston Churchill) :-)

Congratulations Kevin & Powell Family!
That's why we work so hard, yes?
Don't know if that is your first or not, but if so, enjoy every minute -
they go by so fast. My son was born, I blinked, and then he turned 5 in
September.
(BTW, she's absolutely precious and looks NOTHING like Winston
Churchill)
Peace

I haven't said anything about this thread hoping it would die down by
itself.
While I don't think a listserve about page layout it exactly the
right place for a birth announcement, I totally understand the
feelings to share the joy with the group. So I suppose it isn't the
worst thing in the world. (We all need more joy in our lives.)
What isn't so understandable is the need to respond to the listserve
itself with the congratulatory messages.
That's just a waste of bandwidth, especially for those of us who are
on the road using really slow hotel connections or trying to download
on iPhones and Treos.
If you must post birth, wedding, bar mitzvah, engagement, or other
forms of social announcements on the list, please reconsider?
But please, don't respond to the entire list. Send a personal note to
the original poster congratulating him or her.
Best,
Sandee
